This past weekend we traveled to Heber Springs for my grandfather's 80th Birthday! On Saturday we had party for him. It was a suprise and the even bigger suprise was that my Aunt Charlotte from New York came for the event. I wasn't there when she walked in but everyone said it was a really sweeet moment and that he was so excited!!! So after that, the rest of the family started trickling in and each time someone new arrived he got excited all over again! My mom has two sisters and a brother and almost all of us were there except my cousins that live in New York and Georgia. Anyway, a bunch of his friends were also invited, so all in all it was a great party. I hope you had a wonderful birthday Papaw!

Cam's family has a lake condo on Greer's Ferry so we decided to make an entire weekend out of the trip. On Friday we got there late, so we just had dinner and feel asleep on the couch at 10 pm. How sad! On Saturday, we lounged around, took Bailey swimming, and then went to the party. After the party, Cam's dad, stepmom, sister, and her boyfriend met us at the condo for a visit! It was really fun and we stayed up really late playing poker. I generally suck at poker but I was a big winner on Saturday night!!!

Sunday was a lazy day again. We took Bailey swimming again and she just loved it! It took us awhile to "bring out" the retriever in her and try to get her to swim and fetch, but now there is no stopping her. She is full of energy. I got some pics of her swimming and also of her and Cam playing outside. She loves to bark at us to get us to chase her around and will almost have a stand off with us to see who will make the first move. There are some pics of her doing that above...so cute! We also picked out the tile for our upcoming bathroom remodel. We hope to be starting that in the next couple of weeks. I cannot wait!!
