The Deacons: Who's Wedding is it anyway??

Have any of y'all ever seen this show? I think its on E!....and I watch it every now and then when there is nothing else on TV. Anyway, the purpose of the post clearly is not about the show but I thought it was a good intro ... :)

So I know I've mentioned that I have a lot of friends getting married this coming spring. And these aren't just any friends....these 4 girls are four of my very best, dearest friends. Each of them is so special to me in her own way, and I feel so blessed to be able to be there for each of them during this exciting time. And I guess the grooms-to-be are pretty awesome too! :)

First up are Anna and Drew who are getting married April 10. Anna and I met during Sorority Rush right before our freshman year of college and have been best friends ever since. We were roommates in the Tri-Delt house and after we moved out on our own. Drew and Cam are also very close friends and Fraternity brothers in college. Anna and Drew first started dating in college and are such a fun, carefree couple! They are still two of our best friends and you never know what is going to happen when we get together! Both of them were in our wedding and we can't wait to celebrate their wedding with them!!!

Next up....Stephanie and Jimbo on May 1. Steph and I have been friends since kindergarten. We remained close friends through grade school, junior high, high school, and were even Sorority sisters and roommates in college!! Needless to say...we go way back! Her fiancee, Jimbo, and her met after we graduated from college and live in Fayetteville. Jimbo is actually Anna's cousin!! We always have a blast when we see them and maybe we will convince them to move back to LR someday! :)

After that....Barrett and Robert (or Feltus as all of his friends call him) on May 15. Barrett and I also met during Rush our freshman year of college. She and Anna were actually roommates in Reid Hall in Fayetteville when Steph and I were roommates on the same floor our freshman year!!! Fun times. Barrett and I were also roommates in the Tri-Delt house and when we first moved to Little Rock after college. If my memory serves me right, they started dating in college when Drew set them up on a date to Sigma Chi Formal our junior year!!

And last but not least....Lindsey and Erik on May 29. This one is special for the obvious reason that the groom is my little brother, but even if Lindsey weren't marrying Erik, her wedding would still be a special one. Lindsey and I became friends during medical school, and we got to be really close when we studied for our first set of Boards together. We have been best friends since! She and Erik started dating during our third year of medical school after. We spend a lot of time with them and enjoy having them nearby!! It doesn't get much better than family and friends being one in the same. :)

Its going to be a whirlwind of a spring with bridal parties, couples showers, Bachelorette and Bachelor parties, and of course the weddings!!!! YAY! Our first wedding get together was for Stephanie and Jimbo a couple of weeks ago here in Little Rock. A bunch of their friends made it here for the party, and we had a great time.
