New Years, Congrats to Cam, and Back to work!

Below are some pics I took of Bailey this week. She loves to lounge in the sun in "her" yard!

I love this one with her eyes closed... she really looks like she is sunbathing!

I hope everyone has had a wonderful start to 2009!

We spent NYE this year with friends and family, and started the night off with dinner at Cajun's Wharf. The food was great and we had so much fun catching up with everyone. After dinner, we went over to Laura and Jason's for the NYE festivities. We had a lot of fun ringing in the New Year with such wonderful friends. Thank you for having us over!!

On New Year's day, Cam's dad came over to watch football with us. I'm sad that football season is ending but at least we have basketball to look forward to...and we may have a team worth celebrating about this year!! That night, Anna and Drew invited us over for dinner with some friends. Drew got a new grill for Christmas and couldn't wait to use it! Thanks for the fabulous home cooked meal!!

We also received exciting news this week that Cam passed his Series 7 test! I am really proud of him...and also a little bit jealous that he hardly has to study and can do well! :) He took the test on New Years Eve and found out that day that he had passed, so we had even more of a celebration to ring in the New Year! Congrats Cambo.

On a not so exciting note, I have to go back to work tomorrow after being off for 10 WEEKS...gotta love 4th year of medical school!! I know I shouldn't be complaining, but tomorrow is going to be a rude awakening! Also, I find out where I have matched for Residency in less than 2 weeks!! I haven't really been nervous about it until now, but I submitted my list of preferences this week...aka my rank list, so it is all becoming very real now. I promise I will let everyone know what happens with the match!

May 2009 be a wonderful year for you all! Until next time...
